Pierce The Veil Releases New Music Video For “Circles”

Pierce The Veil was proud, to say the least, about their new music video for “Circles,” off their newest album Misadventures premiering on MTV. As a current Top 40 track at alternative radio, “Circles” was directed by Drew Russ, some that PTV has a history with seeing as he also directed music videos for popular songs “King For A Day” and “Bulls In The Bronx.”

The music video goes like this: PTV is on tour – but when aren’t they? The bus pulls up to a beyond sketchy hotel and, like every good scary movie goes, all hell breaks loose. The hotel bar serves drinks that slither with snakes while rooms are filled with rotting food. What’s more is that they aren’t the first band; Sleeping With Sirens and All Time Low have also been taken. Former MTV host Matt Pinfield guest stars as the obsessive and creepy hotel owner.

Vic Fuentes said to Alternative Press Magazine about the video, “We didn’t want to use a lot of green screen and we wanted it to be in the old days where doors were opening and things were moving, it was all mechanical and always done by hand.”

Recently completing the sold-out U.S. Misadventures Tour, Pierce The Veil didn’t wait too long before journeying – get it, cause it’s presented by Journeys – out again for the Made To Destroy Tour with Neck Deep and I Prevail, a seven-week North American tour that will begin in San Francisco on September 3.

“We wanted to come across as something positive and really gives you the message that it’s about taking care of your friends, escaping things, and helping each other out when you need to,” Fuentes said about the meaning behind the video.
